Community Club Leader (Volunteer)
Camp Fire Central Coast of California is always seeking energetic, self-motivated volunteers to serve as Community Club Leaders, helping guide local youth programs throughout the Central Coast.
Community Club Leaders play an important role in creating meaningful experiences for children and teens. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who want to make a positive difference in the lives of young people by helping them build confidence, leadership skills, and a sense of belonging.
While there are currently no open staff positions within our council, we are always welcoming dedicated volunteers to support our programs.
Responsibilities include:
Leading after-school club meetings for groups of approximately 6–8 youth
Facilitating engaging activities and discussions
Supporting positive youth development and teamwork
Attending one evening meeting each month
Assisting with program planning and communication
Club meetings are typically held at local school sites throughout the Central Coast.
Volunteer Requirements
To ensure the safety and well-being of the youth we serve, all volunteers must complete:
Fingerprinting
Background checks in compliance with California AB 506 Youth Service Organization requirements
