Community Service events and Camp Fire activities

Fundraising to support our youth programming:

Supporting over 700 youth each year, Camp Fire programming gives youth the opportunity to thrive, build leadership skills, and support our local community through service.  Love helping kids find their spark?  Here's just a few simple and fun ways to give back:

Members of Camp Fire Central Coast of California are now selling their world famous Camp Fire Mints, Almond Caramel Clusters, Almond Rocca, P-Nuttles for $5 per box until February 15th.   Club members who are selling candy are learning important life skills.  They’re learning how to work as a team, set goals, practice public speaking, manage money and build their self-confidence.   What a sweet way to support Camp Fire youth!

We also have our “Operation Home Front” for those who don’t have a sweet tooth but still want to support Camp Fire.  By purchasing a box or two of candy, we will send them to our troops as an extension of your support.

With your support our club and summer programming give our youth the opportunity to find their spark, lift their voice and discover who they are as they “light the fire within!”  Camp Fire helps kids “thrive”!

Thanks To All who bought Pointsettias!

Many Camp Fire kids and their families came out to help out in the Thanksgiving serving line November. 24, 2021.  For those of you that have not been, Camp Fire has always been in charge of the take out line.  We create an assembly line of amazing Camp Fire Kids and adults, each person is in charge of placing an item of turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, broccoli, cranberry & rolls in a take out container.  The meals are distributed to meals on wheels, the homeless and other members of the community in need.

Wiggle Waggle 2021! Thank you Heather Sanchez for your amazing efforts in collecting 300 stuffed animals, collars, treats, beds, leashes, harnesses and so many other things that I know I did not mention. You out did yourself! Thank you club leaders, Heather Muran, Rebecca & Greg Bishop, board member Daphne, club parents and youth members. Today was successful because of each one of you! WoHeLo, Renee Davila
