WaLaKi is our way of saying Water, Land, and Kids! Designed for youth ages 5-12 by June 1st, Camp WaLaKi features a different theme each week alongside Camp Fire’s celebrated Starflight concepts, with added emphasis on nature and environmental stewardship. Campers will need to bring a peanut-free lunch and are encouraged to pack it in their own creative sustainable ways; morning and afternoon snacks provided. Each session runs Monday through Thursday, 9:30am to 4pm. Choose one week or all three: July 13 – 30. New location this summer: Bellevue Santa Fe Charter School. Thursdays of each week will include a special theme day with a closing ceremony at 3:30pm to reflect upon what campers have learned. Family invited to attend (optional.)

Sessions (final themes/schedule TBA)

Week-1    July 13-16    “Color Burst” – recognizing the Sparks and vibrance within us and around us

Week-2    July 20-23    “Jumping for Joy” – observing nature as a case study for flourishing resilience

Week-3    July 27-30    “Balloon Brilliance” – identifying patterns in nature and weather phenomenon
